The HDPC is dedicated to protecting human life from conception as a service organization through education, advocacy, and support.
We are a non-profit organization and affiliated with the Right to Life League of Southern California and under the medical directorship of Dr. Andre Kasko. We also have a registered nurse on staff, Elizabeth Moore, who has served in the Morongo Basin as a Home Health Nurse and now offers her expertise at our clinic for our clients at no cost to them. We also offer limited ultrasounds with registered ultrasound technician Kathleen Boetger.
The clinic started out as a “pregnancy center” in 1978 and grew to become a “pregnancy clinic” in 2003. In 2017 we had over 1,000 client visits, of which 166 new clients were seen.
From pregnancy testing, pregnancy support, and parenting classes to relationship classes and post-abortion and miscarriage support, the HDPC is here to help. With the clinic’s “Earn While You Learn” program, those who attend any of these free classes can earn “Butterfly Bucks” that may be used to purchase formula, diapers, baby clothing or various other nursery items from our store located in the clinic.
We operate completely by donations. Our only source of income is the generous support of corporations, local businesses, churches, and individual contributions.
